Dear friends of Grain of Wheat International,
We have been touched by all your encouragement during this year 2024, and it is with confidence and faith that we begin 2025 at your side in connection with the children and teams we serve in these 24 countries that are so dear to our hearts.
We are encouraged despite the difficulties of war, hostility, climate and humanitarian disasters.
We know and witness that our ministry has an impact on these children and families to whom we share and give hope.
However, their courage and bravery are an example to us who live in more peaceful countries. Their gratitude and commitment to Gospel values give us great hope and faith, believing that God holds everything in His hands.
I was recently touched by this text from Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
What an incredible promise! This is what we strive to, to serve God with all our heart without slackening and with determination, not returning evil for evil, but continually doing good without weariness, for we look not to the present moment but to the day when the works of Christ will be revealed.
We’ve been through a difficult period, now we’re looking to the future, confident in God’s promises for the work of Grain of Wheat International, we see his action continually, we feel supported by your prayers and your generosity.
I wish you, dear reader, a year 2025 in the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us. May this promise accompany you too!
