We can consider 2022 as the first post-pandemic year. But we have still seen the long-term consequences of the pandemic in many countries, in many projects. We lost experienced volunteers, had to stop projects for two years and used a lot of energy to develop online ideas and projects to stay in contact with the children that we love. Our teams worldwide did a great job and again we have experienced Gods faithfulness! So besides difficulties and sadness, the pandemic has brought us also new creativity and activities.
Of course, 2022 was the year in which the war in Ukraine started. With offices in Kiev, Moscow and Minsk, as well as in Romania and Moldova we were hit hard by this war. The hardest of course in Ukraine, but with hundreds of activities in Russia and Belarus it is so difficult now to support our teams there, helping them to continue their ministry. And our teams in Moldova and Romania did wonderful work in ministering to thousands of refugee children.
