Dear friends,
The letter to the Philippians, written by Paul and Timothy to the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons, especially resonates in our hearts for Grain of Wheat International. Paul cherished those who participated in the same grace as him with the tenderness of Jesus Christ. But what was this grace? The part you take in the Gospel, from the first day until now! For 75 years, Grain of Wheat International has taken its part, received from God, to support activities and projects aimed at caring for children of all nationalities, religious backgrounds, and social classes, but especially underprivileged children and those at risk. Its activities are part of a broader context of sharing the values of the Christian faith. Our foundation achieves its goal by encouraging the organization of summer camps, day centers, clubs, meetings, events, theatrical, musical, and sports activities, as well as social and humanitarian actions using appropriate communication tools. God’s work has extended into countries that are at war, suffering from climate disasters, humanitarian crises and political crises. Despite this, as you will read in our annual report, God accompanies each of our teams on the ground to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ around the world. We are on the journey with our Lord; the path is not easy, but we are convinced that despite the difficulties, trials, and changes, He who began this good work will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
With all our affection.
